Donna Adamets, 96, of Gladwin, died Thursday, Jan. 3, 2002 at Edna Mae's Country Leisure Living.

Born July 3, 1914 in Gladwin County, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Eva (Bruner) Carbeno.

Donna married Frank Adamets, Aug. 6, 1932. He preceded her in death Dec. 10, 1972. She worked for many years at Schwager's Department Store and was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church.

Surviving are two daughters, Ruth Ann and husband Norman Linton of Gladwin and Jean and husband Edwin Demsky of Midland; five grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; one brother, Wayne Carbeno of Gladwin; and one sister, Ruth Grice of Gladwin. She was preceded in death by four brothers and one sister.

A funeral liturgy was held at 11 a.m. Monday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with Rev. Father Patrick Jankowiak officiating. Burial was in Highland Cemetery.

Sisson Funeral Home, Gladwin, was in charge of the arrangements.
