He worked as a contractor and heavy equipment operator on Cape Cod until 1969 when he moved to Auburn, ME. He worked for Pioneer Plastics as a truck driver and diesel mechanic retiring in 1988.
He is survived by two daughters Holly Piper of Poland, ME; Janice Wytrwal of Hopkinton, MA; five sisters Helen Lyman of Davenport, IO; Elizabeth "Betty" Seaman of Alexandria, LA; Dorothy Silva of Marstons Mills, MA; Ethel Glassburner of Huntingbeach, CA; Diane Long of Lakeville, MA; four brothers John A; Harry W and James A all of Marstons Mills, MA; William A of Clearwater, FL; two grandchildren Joshua Adam Gallop and Jenna Marie Wytrwal.
He was predeceased by a son Douglas E Aalto who died July 30, 1986.
