Services for John Albert Aalto of McMinnville were held Saturday in the Chapel of Macy & Son. Officiating was the Rev. John Milbrath of Bethany Lutheran Church in Portland.
Mr. Aalto died Jan. 24, 1985, in the Careousel Care Center. He was 37. Interment was in Evergreen Memorial Park.
Born Sept. 20, 1947, in Boston, he was the son of Eino and Hilda Paakki Aalto. He moved with his family to Portland in 1958.
Mr. Aalto graduated from Madison High School in Portland.
He lived in California, Washington, and Oregon for the past 20 years. Mr. Aalto worked several years in the dye department of Chase Bag Co. in Portland.
Mr. Aalto had been a resident of Careousel Care Center in McMinnville for two years.
Survivors include his parents, Eino and Hilda Aalto of Portland; a daughter, Juanita of Sacramento; a sister, Eileen Eckart of Portland; and two brothers, Walter Aalto of Willamina and Eric Aalto of Portland.
