Rev. Virgil R. Gillum, local pastor, conducted funeral services Sunday afternoon for Lester Adams, 61, who died Thursday night at his home at Vindex, Md. The rites were held from the Methodist Church at Swanton. The Rev. Mr. Gillum is a former pastor of that section and officiated at services for Mr. Adam's son a few years ago. Mr. Gillum also conducted a Sunrise service at the Addison (Pa.) Methodist church at 7 o'clock Easter Sunday morning.
