Anthony Abbotoni was the son of Luigi Enrico Abbotoni and Maria Tartarini. His father, Luigi, immigrated to the US from Finale Emilia, Italy in 1903 and his mother and older brother, Antonino, arrived in the US in 1907. Anthony was named after his brother, Antonio, who died in 1918 from the Spanish Flu. He married Mildred Elmira Webber on September 4, 1939 in Boothbay, ME. They had four children.
