Gladys Merle Crews, Adams, 83, of Folkston, GA, passed away January 21 at St. Vincent's Medical Center following an illness.
She was born in Folkston, GA to the late Freeman F. Crews and Nora L. Hickox Crews. She was a homemaker and a member of Calvary Baptist Church. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter: Pamela Y. Gray; a Brother: Lou Crews and a Sister: Pauline Crews Fuller.
She is survived by her Husband: Charles Adams; her children: Andy Gray and Denise (Jason) Gaines; Grandchildren: Allan Taylor, Allie Gaines, Amelia Gaines, Melissa Smith, Torrence Gray; Great Grandchildren: Landon Taylor, Lynox Taylor, Kayla Smith, Joseph Smith; and a number of nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends Friday, January 24 at Shepard Funeral Home from 6-8 PM. Funeral services will be held Saturday, January 25 at 2:00 PM at the Shepard Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Mike Maddox officiating. Burial will follow in Bethel Cemetery.
