George was the son of Washington Warren Oliver and Hannah Oliver (her maiden name was Oliver).
He married Julia M Fowler on August 21, 1879 in Lyon County, Kentucy.
They were the parents of:
Sidney Vinson b: Feb 4 1884 in Trigg County, Kentucky
Ici Dora b: Mar 4 1888 in Trigg County, Kentucky
Ivie Oliver b: Mar 1886 in Kentucky
