She and John Andrew Slinkard were married April 19, 1933, at Fredericktown, MO. He preceded her in death April 26, 1960.
Oletha was a nurse's aide at Southeast Missouri Hospital, retiring in 1970.
She was a member and taught Sunday School at Red Star Baptist Church.
Survivors include a son-in-law, Donald Simpher of Cape Girardeau, MO; a sister, Ruby Montgomery of Ellisville, MO; one grandson and wife of Jackson, MO; two great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband in 1960; two daughters; one stepson; three brothers, and one sister.
Funeral service will be Monday at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Funeral Home, with the Rev. Cy Smith officiating. Burial will be in Bollinger County Memorial Park Cemetery at Marble Hill, MO.
