Interment was made in the Wall Lake Cemetery under the direction of the Dahl-Van Hove-Schoof Funeral Home.
Margaret Quistorff was born June 4, 1900, in Vail, IA, the daughter of Wesley and Elizabeth Madden Freml. She married Adolph Quistorff on June 7, 1920, in Vail. They farmed for 30 years near Lake View and then moved in 1959 to Cedar Falls, where they owned and operated a student residence for 21 years near the University of Northern Iowa campus.
Survivors include a son, Byron of Cedar Falls; two daughters, Muriel Ellis of Renwick and Marvel Bettin of Cedar Falls; a daughter-in-law Darlene Quistorff of Lake View; 15 grandchildren; and 26 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband in 1972; her parents; a son, Donald; a granddaughter, Mary; a brother, George Freml; seven half-brothers; and seven half-sisters.
