Clotilde Tarin was born July 12, 1906 in Mexico, and came to the United States with her parents as a young child. The family settled in El Paso, Texas, where she married Julian Abasolo on April 3, 1924.

The couple lived in Arizona for a time after their marriage, and their son Julius was born there before they made a final move to Reno, Nevada. Clotilde was a homemaker, while Julian worked in local casinos.

Clotilde passed away in 1934 after intentionally drinking household cleaner. She was survived by her husband Julian, her son Julius, and her mother, Josepha Tarin.
