Mrs. Lauis Hardy
GORDO-A funeral for Mrs. Lauis A. Hardy, 75, who died Tuesday at Hale Memorial Hospital, was to be today at 11 a.m. at Hargrove Methodist Church. The Rev. Ralph Elmore and the Rev. Sam Graham were to officiate with burial in the church cemetery and Stabler Funeral Home directing.
Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Mary Spain, Gordo; two sisters. Mrs. WW. Ballard, Tuscaloosa , and Mrs. Hattie Meadows, New Jersey; two brothers,. EE. Abrams, and Renzo Abrams, both of Gordo; six grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Pallbearers were to be J D. Rice, Doyle Abrams, Warren Sanders, Jessie 0 White, Laverne Windham and the Rev. Chester Free.
Mrs. Hardy was a native and life-long resident of Pickens County, the widow of Luther Hardy. She was a member of Hargrove Methodist Church.
