SEVERN — The funeral for Minnie W. Adams, 79, was held at 3 pm, February 21. The Rev. Robert Wyatt conducted rites at Severn Baptist Church and burial followed in Severn Cemetery.
Surviving are three daughters, Goldie N. Garris of Conway, Madeline N. Wheeler of Severn and Shirley C. Seamster of Richmond, VA; a stepdaughter, Nellie Simpson of Weldon; two stepsons, John Collier of Seaboard and Charlie Collier of Roanoke Rapids; a sister, Della Ogburn of Roanoke Rapids; and nine grandchildren.
