SORRENTO - Andrew H. Abbott, 85, passed away peacefully at his home March 29, 2014 and was reunited with his beloved wife of 60 years, Beatrice. He was born August 3, 1928 in Sullivan, the son of Cecil Abbott and Phyllis (Havey) Abbott Watts.

He was a very loving and caring husband, father and grandfather. Nothing pleased him more than being with his family in their home or at the family camp, both of which he built. He will be remembered for his patience, kind heart and love of seafood. He worked many jobs during his life and retired as a carpenter. He will be sadly missed.

He was predeceased by his parents and beloved wife, Bea.

There will be a gathering of friends and family April 12 at the Sorrento Community Building. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Sullivan Sorrento Rec Center. Arrangements made by Bragdon - Kelley Funeral Homes. (Bangor Daily News 4/3/2014)
