Abel, John H. Age 29. Residence Andrew, nativity Ohio. Enlisted July 24, 1862, as Fifth Sergeant. Mustered Sept. 16, 1862. Promoted Fourth Sergeant Feb. 20, 1863. Died Feb. 23, 1863, Memphis, Tenn.
John Henry Abel also had daughters Emma, b. 1857 and Lenore, b. 1859.
