OBITUARY: Funeral in Rotan For Bryan Aaron
Rotan-Funeral for Bryan Aaron, 67, longtime Fisher County resident, will be held at 4 p.m. Tuesday in Weathersbee Chapel here with Rev. Royce Shoemate, pastor of Hobbs Baptist Church, officiating.
Burial will be in Hobbs Cemetery.
Mr. Aaron died Monday morning in Big Spring Veterans Administration Hospital after a short illness.
He was born Oct 14, 1896, in Hobbs Community and was a Fisher County resident most of his life. A World War I veteran, he was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars.
Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Nora Williamson of Phoenix, Ariz;one son Lee of Phoenix; two brothers, A.A. of Rotan and Frank of Buffalo Gap; one sister Mary Anderson of Rotan; three grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Pallbearers will be Hugh Huckaby, O. R. Nowlin, M.P. McGrew, Lee Williams, Grady Williams and David Williams.

He enlisted in the Army when was 21. He was stationed at El Centro, CA, Sept. 5, 1918. He left the US Oct. 27, 1918, to serve in France at the Base Hospital 96. He returned to the US on Apr. 30, 1919, and was discharged May 23, 1919.
