Services from Mary Susan Palmore, 84, who died Wednesday at 4:30 p.m. at the home of a son, Leo Palmore, 509 W. Morrison st., will be conducted Friday at 2 p.m. from the Hartman Funeral Home.

The Rev. James Swan will officiate and interment will be inthe I.O.O.F. Cemetery here. Friends may call at the funeral home any time.

A former resident of the Jefferson community, Mrs. Palmore died of complications of advanced age, following an illness of ten days.

Born in Kentucky, November 23, 1871, she was the daughter of Frank and Rebecca (Burg) Bartley. In 1888 she was married to William (Tommy) Palmore, who passed away in December 1951.

She came to Clinton County from Kentucky in 1911, Mr. Palmore engaging in farming near Jefferson.

Surviving besides the son at whose home she died at two other sons, Oscar, of near Mulberry, and George L., Radnor; a daughter, Mrs. Bessie Haden, Attica; and 12 grandchildren.

A daughter, Mrs. Beulah Grissom, and a brother, John Bartley, preceded her in death.
