Point Rock - Frank J. Dorn, one of the most highly respected residents of this locality, died at 1 o'clock this morning after an illness of two weeks. He was born in Elfast, Germany, 84 years ago, and came to America when a young man. He married Carolina Smith 59 years ago and a year later came to this place, where he built the house in which he had since resided. He was a farmer by occupation, industrious, frugal and successful, and his many friends regret that he is no more. Mr. Dorn is survived by his wife and two daughters, Mrs. John Bowman of Lee Center, and Mrs. James McNamara of Rome.
The funeral will be held at the Point Rock Church on Sunday. Interment will be made in the local cemetery.
