Carrie Mae Aaron, a resident of Baker, passed away Saturday, May 3, 2014 at The Clarity Hospice Home in Baton Rouge. She was a faithful member of Zoar Baptist Church. She will be missed by all who knew her.

Carrie is survived by her loving son and daughter-in-law, Jimmy and Stephanie Aaron; her grandchildren, Murray L. Aaron and his fiancée Heather Webb, Adam L. Aaron and his wife Alison; and two great-grandchildren, Triston Lee Aaron and Cecilia Martine Aaron.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband, James W. Aaron; father, H.O. Denham; mother, Josephine Denham; sisters, Annie Thomas, Florence Landon, Lula Stevens, Ella Lee Hubbs; and brothers, H.O. Denham, Jr., Leroy Denham, Frank Denham, and Jesse Denham.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to the visitation at Zoar Baptist Church, 11848 Hooper Road, Baton Rouge, La. until the religious service. Rev. Glen Miers will officiate the service and the interment will follow in the Zoar Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will be forever grateful for the loving care and kindness given to her by caregivers, Hilda Morris, Betty Wilson, Dianne Johnson, Gloria Parker, Aldrema Hayes, Catherlen Smith, and the nurses at Clarity Hospice.

The family requests that In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Zoar Baptist Church Cemetery fund.
