Funeral services will be held Friday afternoon for Lamont "Scotty" Keir, 70, 5 W. Kettleman lane, who died Tuesday night in a Stockton hospital after an extended illness. Born in Iowa, he lived in Kansas for 35 years before coming to the Lodi District in 1936. He worked in the sales division of Acampo Winery. He was a member of Iowa, Masonic group.
He was the husband of Mrs. Marian Keir, Lodi; the father of Duncan D. and Donald L. Keir, both of Lodi; Mrs. Fred Nickels, Agar, S.D.; and Aaron B. Keir, Pittsburgh, Calif.; and the brother of Roy A. Keir, Sac City, Iowa.
Grandfather of Scotty Lamont, Judie, Janie, Donna, Robert, Donald, Kenneth and Susan Keir, all of Lodi.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday in the chapel of East Pine Funeral Home with Rev. Ernest M. Fowler of the First Congregational Church officiating. Entombment will follow at Lodi Memorial Cemetery.
