Peggy Abbe Byrom Houlette
Peggy was born 19 August 1937 in Gainesville, Cooke, Texas, the daughter of William Ralph and Gladys Foster Abbe. She passed away on 27th of June, 2014 in a Plano, Texas Hospital. She attended and graduated from Gainesville High School. She was married 11 August 1956 in Gainesville, Texas to Marion Claude Byrom. He predeceased her in 1989.
She was married to James A. "Jim" Houlette in Gainesville, Texas on 1 December 1999. They have made their home in the Whitesboro area since that date.
She was survived by her husband, Jim, and two sons: Rodney Byrom and wife, Phyllis of Duncanville, Texas, and Terry Byrom of San Angelo, Texas; two brothers, Gary Abbe and wife Ranee of Sherman, Texas; and Johnny Abbe and wife Susan of Rowlett, Texas; three sister-in-laws, Margie Abbe of Mountain Home, AR, Peggy Abbe of Yukon, OK and Renate Abbe of Denton, TX; one grandson, Nolan Abbe of Ocala, FL,three step-sons; Alan Leon Houlette of Sherwood Shores, Texas, Pacer Houlette of Douglasville, Georgia and Shan Houlette of Sherwood Shores and three step grandchildren, many nieces and nephews that loved her dearly.
She was predeceased by her parents; brothers, Lee Abbe, Leon Abbe, Don Abbe and Ronnie Abbe; one granddaughter, Chelsea Robertson.
