Mrs. Corinne Aarness, 74, Lincoln, Nebraska, formerly of Aitkin, passed away Friday, May 15, 1992, at the Holmes Lake Manor in Lincoln, Nebraska.

She was born Thursday January 10, 1918 in Lakefield, Minnesota, the daughter of Marcus and Barbara Frederickson. She was a 1935 graduate of Aitkin High School and graduated in 1939 from the University of Minnesota in business administration. She married Oscar Aarness on March 1, 1952 in St. Paul. They made their home in Aitkin for a number of years where they operated the OK Cleaners. She has lived in Lincoln for many years.

She was a member of the Plymouth Congregational Church and the American Legion Post No. J Auxiliary of Lincoln, Nebraska. While living in Aitkin she was a member of the First Congregational Church and the Aitkin American Legion Post 86 Auxiliary.

She is survived by a son-in-law, Dan Rosser of Woodbridge, Virginia and a brother, Floyd Frederickson of Dickinson, Texas.

She as preceded in death by her husband Oscar in 1972, and a daughter Barbara in 1991.
