Wheeler and she became a widower after 3 months and 4 days of marriage. About one year later she married john F. O'Brien december 25, 1888. Exactly one year later at the 8 month of her pregnancy she died of a single gunshot wound. It was stated it was an accident but with the forensics today it would no doubt show she was murdered.
