John J. Abbott, 83 of Indianapolis, IN passed away July 12, 2014. He was born on June 18, 1931 to the late John and Stella (Smeltzer) Abbott in Coal Grove, Ohio.
He was a retired Machine Operator at Link-Belt after 18 years.
He is survived by his children, Joyce (Danny) Baker, John R. "Randy" (Marie) Abbott, grandchildren, Jessica Baker, Joshua and Sara Abbott, sister, Suzanne (Larry) Wells and numerous nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Nora, parents John and Stella Abbott, brother, Robert Abbott and sister, Carol Morgan.
