Lucille M. Reeves, age 88, of Pierce City, MO died on Thursday, July 10, 2014 at Freeman Health System West in Joplin, MO. Ms. Reeves was born near Clarkson Springs, MO on Tuesday, December 08, 1925. She was the daughter of George A. and Alice (Russell) Abbott. Ms. Reeves graduated from Pierce City High School in 1944, and attended Draughns Business College in Springfield, MO. She was a secretary for many years and was a member of Van Buren Union Chapel.
Surviving are her daughter, one brother, two grandsons; five great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
Funeral services were held on Tuesday July 15, 2014, Rev. Gene Roberson officiated. Burial followed at Pierce City Cemetery in Pierce City, MO.
