Mrs. J. L. Abernethy was honored Wednesday evening when employees of the Ord Cooperative Creamery gathered at her home for a farewell party. Emil Babka creamery manager and Mrs. Babka, were among the guests.
Mrs. Abernethy expected her son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. George Howard to arrive here early in the week from Oakland, Calif. They will help Mrs. Abernethy with a sale of personal household things and then take her back to the coast where she will make her home with them. Another daughter, Mrs. Paul Faria, also lives in Oakland.
