Hedge James Mustain, 12, was born on March 15, 1939, at Granny's Branch, Cyclone, McDonald County, Missouri and entered into Heaven on March 28, 1951, in the Stella Hospel, Stella, Newton County, Missouri.Hedge was the son of Joseph Arthur "Little Joe" Mustain and Linna Azaline "Rachel" Turner Mustain. Hedgy, his nickname, was laid to rest in Cowan Cemetery, Powell, McDonald County, Missouri, on March 30, 1951. His grave stone was made by J.E. Cowan. Hedgy was preceded in death by his brother, Infant Mustain, his sister, Alta Irine Mustain, and his brother, Virgil Mustain. At the time of his death, survivors were his parents, Joe and Rachel Mustain, brothers Harmon Mustain, Willie Mustain, Ab Mustain, and Preston Mustain. Also, Hedgy's sisters, Rosy Mustain Dement, Bertha Jane Mustain Abercrombie, Julia Mae Mustain Hines, Mary Belle Mustain Arms, Imogene Elizabeth Mustain Terrill, Delcie Lue Mustain Rhoades, and Carolyn Sue Mustain Fenton. Note: Hedgy's sisters' names include their married surname. Most of his sisters were single young girls living in the family home at Granny's Branch when Hedgy passed away.


NOTE: All of Hedgy's brothers/sisters were full siblings, not half as indicated by the double asterisks on Bertha Abercrombie. I cannot edit Aunt Bertha's "Birdie" page as I did not create her memorial.
