MINOT, NORTH DAKOTA Jan. 29, 1927
Dr. Adolph Aaker, 48 years old of Minot, widely known physician, died in a local hospital Friday as a result of internal injuries suffered when he tripped and fell while running to catch a train at Velva.
Death was declared due to an internal abdominal hemorrhage.

Dr. Aaker had been attending the funeral of a friend at Velva and was hurrying to catch a train.

Dr. Aaker moved to Minot last fall after having practiced at Velva since 1909.
Prior to srudy of medicine Dr. Aaker was a scholarship pupil of the famous piano teacher, Hans von Schiller.

Dr. Aaker had written a number of musical compositions. His "Evangeline " suite written as incidental music to Longfellow's "Evangeline" was published and played by many of the leading symphony orchestras of the country.

Funeral services are to be held at First Lutheran church in Minot , Monday afternoon.
