The remains of Miss Eliza Abbott, a former resident of Prattville, but who for many years had been living in Indiana, where she died last Friday, were brought to this place on last Monday afternoon and interred at Oak Hill cemetery. The burial occurred immediately after the arrival of the M. & O. train at 4:15 o'clock, the funeral service being conducted by Rev. E. M. Craig, pastor of the local Presbyterian church, of which denomination the deceased had long been a member.
