HICKORY VALLEY---Services for Rosa Mae Achord, 68, were at 2p.m. Saturday at Shackelford Funeral Home chapel with the Rev. Henry Inman and Bertie Moore officiating. Burial was in Ramer Cemetery.
Mrs. Achord died Thursday at the Bolivar Community Hospital after a long illness.
She was the widow of K. C. Achord. She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Dorothy Achord Brock of Hickory Valley; a brother, Bill Simpson of West Memphis, Ark.; a sister, Mrs. Mary Pierce of Memphis,; five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
