June 18, 1907
Taberg, June 18 - Willis Fenton, the oldest son of Mr. and Mrs. Chester Fenton, died at his home yesterday morning after a short illness from pleuro-pneumonia. Everything that kind hands and medical skill could do was of no avail. He was nearing his 18th year and was a great help to his parents. The blow is a severe one to them. Wllis was a very bright and sociable boy and had gathered around him a large circle of young friends and acquaintances, who will be sincerely grieved to hear of his death and who will extend sympathy to the bereaved parents and family. Besides his parents he is survived by one brother and four sisters, Walter, Edna, May, Rena and Nellie. The funeral will be held at his late home on Wednesday. Interment will be made in Maple Hill Cemetery.
