Melissa Anne Furr Adams, 42, passed away on Friday August 29, 2014. She was born on June 18, 1972 in Jacksonville, FL, where she lived all of her life.
She is preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, John and Mary Testone, her paternal grandparents, Junior and Jackie Childs and her aunt Patty Eady.
Melissa was a member of Believer's Joy Worship Center, she was a loving mother, daughter, sister, friend and will be dearly missed by all.
Survivors include her husband, Kevin Ray Adams; sons, Christopher Michael Benoit (Niki), Blake Nickolas Adams; daughter Lindsey Daniell Benoit; Mother and step father, Pam and Troy Howell; step mother, Karol Furr; brother, Thomas Wayne Furr, Jr.; uncle, Johnny Testone (Tony); aunts, Lisa Richardson (Bill), and Becky Hall (Ronald); and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday September 3, at 11am in Cedar Bay Funeral Home, 405 New Berlin Road, Jacksonville, with Pastor Lyle E. Shiferdek, Jr., officiating. Interment will follow in St, Mary's Cemetery, St. Mary's, GA. The family will receive friends on Tuesday September 2, from 6pm until 8pm at the funeral home.
