Edna Lorraine (Adam) Haight, devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend was called to the Lord on May 04. 2010.

Edna was born to Jacob and Lydia Adam on May 15, 1932, in Streeter N.D. She graduated from Jamestown High School in 1950, and attended Northern State University.

Edna was united in marriage to James Haight on June 19, 1954 in Aberdeen S.D. Dedicated to career and family, Jim & Edna lived in several South Dakota communities before making their home in the Sioux Falls and Hartford area.

Her love of music reflected in her 25 years of service as organist at St. George Catholic Church in Hartford SD. Her favorite past times included playing bridge, crocheting, traveling, and numerous hours of volunteer work at Avera McKennan Hospital and Avera Prince of Peace.

Edna was preceded in death by her parents and sister Viola Anderson.

Public visitation will be 1:00 to 4:00 pm Friday, May 7, 2010, at Miller Funeral Home, 507 S. Main Avenue. It will be resuming at 6:00 Friday evening at St. Mary Catholic Church with a scripture service at 7:00 pm. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10:00 am, Saturday at St. Mary Catholic Church with burial to follow at Woodlawn Cemetery.
