He is also survived by two daughters, Linda (Terry) Boyd, Lexington and Gail (Chuck) Huling, Fairbury; one son, Ernie Schove, Fairbury; nine grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; one brother, Lonnie (Carole) Schove, Normal and one sister, Martha (Jim) Cottrell, Fairbury.
One sister, Estella Aaron, preceded him in death.
He served in the U.S. Army veteran during the Korean War. He was a recipient of a Purple Heart.
