Born August 1, 1926 in Russell Springs, KY, she was the daughter of the late James and Susie (Luttrell) Bernard. She was a homemaker and a member of the Pioneer Baptist Church. Survivors include: , three daughters: Sara Elizabeth "Libby" Abner of Harrodsburg, KY, Billie Sue Luttrell of Madison, FL, Anna Jean Oster of Danville, KY and two sons: Elwood Lee Byrd of Harrodsburg, KY, Clarence William Byrd of Harrodsburg, KY; Grandchildren, Fourteen (14) ; Great Grandchildren, Eight (8) . Predeceased by two sons: James Earl Byrd, Ronnie Eugene Byrd, two brothers: Vernon and Delworth Bernard, one sister: Sarah Jane Sexton, and One (1) grandchild.
Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 AM, Tuesday, December 27 at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel by James Harley and Burial will be in the Spring Hill Cemetery, Harrodsburg.
Pallbearers are: Jeff Oster, Chris Oster, Zack Wiley, Ralphie Byrd, Chris Reynolds, William Baker, Hardin "Sparkie" Green, David Rosenbaum.
Honorary Bearer: Cory Robinson
Visitation will be Monday, December 26 from 4-7 PM and Tuesday prior to Service at Ransdell Funeral Chapel.
