Norma Zimmerman, 72, Golden Valley, formerly of Luverne, died Tuesday, Nov. 19, 1996, from Alzheimer's Disease.

Memorial services were Wednesday, Nov, 27, in Grace Lutheran Church Chapel, Luverne. The Rev. Dell Sanderson officiated. Private burial was in Fort Snelling Cemetery, St. Paul.

Norma Aanenson was born to Ole and Otelia Aanenson on Dec. 24, 1923, in Luverne. She graduated from Luverne High School in 1943.

Survivors include her husband, Doug, Golden Valley; four bothers and sisters-in-law, Orville and Rose Aanenson, Norman and Ellen Aanenson, all of Luverne, Gordon and Gloria Aanenson, Kanaranzi, and Howard and Lavanelle Aanenson, Pipestone; six sisters and four brothers-in-law, Alfie Brandenburg, Olga and Edward Brandenburg, Alma Ellsworth, all of Luverne, Ramona and Bill Skidmore, Minneapolis, Orla and Bill Powers, Fairfax, VA., and JoAnn and Gary Barmore, Cedar Rapids; and several nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Zimmerman was precede in death by her parents and two sisters.

Washburn-McReavy Welander Quest DuSchane Funeral Home, Robbinsdale, was in charge of arrangement.
