Mrs Butner was the youngest child of Annie & James. Like many families during the Great Depression, the Kinnamons struggled to make ends meet, moving around & sometimes becoming separated from one another to find work. The family eventually moved to KC where she graduated from East High School in 1945. She married George 19 Jun 1948. In 1958 they moved to a farm in Creighton w/their 4 daughters. When her youngest daughter started school, she began going to college earning her Masters Degree in Special Education in 1979. She taught at Archie, Sherwood & Holden High Schools.

She was caring, loving, & deeply connected to family and friends. She remained very close to her brothers & sisters through her entire life. She kept in touch w/many friends from childhood. She was the centerpiece of Sunday Night Dinner, a weekly gathering which her daughters & families maintain today.

Survived by her 4 daughters, 6 grkids, 8 grgrkids, dear family friend Jill Jennings plus many other friends & relatives.
