Mrs. Loretta Aaron Connor, widow of the late Mr. Sylvester J. Connor, of Limestone Township, departed this life early Sunday morning, January 7, 1934, after a brief illness due to a heart ailment.

Solomon High Requiem Mass was offered by the Rev. Father Simendinger, pastor of St. Nicholas Roman Catholic Church, the deceased having been baptized, married and buried from this church, as was the deceased husband, the late Sylvester J. Connor. The funeral was attended by all the deceased’s children.

Mrs. Sylvester J. Connor was born at Crates, Limestone Township, September 1, 1858, the daughter of D. H. and Rebecca (Jones) Aaron and had resided upon the farm in Limestone Township upon which Mr. and Mrs. Sylvester J. Connor had settled on their wedding day, February 15, 1881.

Sylvester J. Connor, the deceased husband, departed this life April 8th of last year at the age of 82 years and also had resided all his life in Limestone Township.

The following named children survive: Mrs. Mary Lydon, Mrs. Albert Beard and Mrs. Hans E. Clausen, all of Detroit; Harry N. and Samuel N., of Limestone Township; A. P., of Johnsonburg; Florence Connor and Mrs. Frank Kotmel, of Pittsburgh and Cecil J. Connor, of Oil City. The deceased was also survived by three sisters, Mrs. Harry Reinsel and Mrs. D. A. Keck, of Limestone Township and Sr. M.Vincent, of Mercyhurst, Erie.

Mr. and Mrs. Sylvester J. Connor celebrated their Golden Wedding Anniversary February 15, 1931.

'Aarons of Crates' on pg. 308, lists Loretta Jane Aaron and Dorothy Jane Aaron as twins born 1 Sept. 1858. There is an asterisk on Loretta's listing with the footnote saying 'Names and dates are from the family records.' It is possible that C and D are the same person. C is Loretta, D is Dorothy.
