Everett Scott was born Nov. 2, 1917 to Les and Betty Scott in East Hess, Ensign, Gray County, Kansas. He passed away on Feb. 20, 1990 in Pampa, Texas. Everett was the owner of his own auto-mechanic garage for about 30 years. He retired due to his health and enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren.

Everett was married three times. First to Oma Beth (Aikin) Leatherman from 1938-1940 and they had two children Janice Maurice (Scott) Hall and Harry Lee Glover. Next he was married to Blanche Agnes (Wiehebrink) Rydberg from 1942-1945 and they had one daughter Shirley Ann (Scott) Brown . Third was Hazel Maxine (Rich) Meshberger from 1948-1969 and they had two sons, Edwin Thomas "Tommy" Scott and Samuel Dennis Scott. Everett and Maxine also raised her children from a previous marriage George Douglas Maupin Jr. and Larry Duane Maupin. From the mid 1970's until the time of his death, he kept the company of Francis Marie (Hutchens) Boyd.
