Nolan Daniel Abercrombie, 51, passed away on Thursday, October 2, 2014. Nolan was born on February 19, 1963, in Quitman, MS. Nolan will be remembered for his love and devotion to his family and friends. He will especially be remembered as a loving best friend, soul mate, father, grand-father, and son.
Nolan was preceded in death by his mother, Nelda Jenkins Abercrombie; son, Billy Pillen; grandson, Nolan Coulter; sister, Myra Manasco; and brother, Wayne Abercrombie.
He is survived by his wife of 28 years, Cyndie Abercrombie; his father, Floyd Abercrombie; daughters and step-daughters, Tabatha Coulter,Taylor Abercrombie, Theresa Dangell Coulter, and Carla L. Mann; seven grandchildren; brothers, William Abercrombie, Guy Abercrombie, and Chris Abercrombie; sisters, Donna Byrd, Linda Lewis, and Linda Coleman; and numerous other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 5, 2014 from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at Freedom Christian Fellowship Church, 7410 Hwy. 613 Escatawpa, MS. Funeral service will be Monday, October 6, 2014, at Freedom Christian Fellowship, beginning at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Dean Smith officiating. Interment will follow at Oral Baptist Church Cemetery, Sumrall, MS.
Serving as pallbearers will be Mitch Hatter, Adam Coulter, Nathan Davenport, Johnny Abercrombie, Cliffy Lewis, Buddy Lewis, Peanut Valdez, Billy Thorton.
