Lydia was preceded in death by her two sons, Alex "Sandro" Abeyta and Mark Abeyta, mother, Macelina Garduño, sister, Margie Vigil and brother, Andy Espiñoza.
Lydia survived by her children, Kenneth (Lydia) of Las Vegas, Earl (Michele) of Silverthorne, CO, James (Heather) of Albuquerque, Elizabeth of Ledoux, Alonzo of Ledoux, Angela (Richard) of Ledoux, Carol (Dwayne) of Las Vegas. Lydia leaves behind numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren, sisters, Antonina Montoya, Pauline García and Priscilla Garduño, brothers, Floyd Espiñoza, Hilario Garduño, Michael Garduño, Paul Garduño and Robert Garduño.
We will always remember Lydia for her open loving arms to anyone in need of a prayer, need of love and support, she always had her home open to anyone in need of food, she was known for homemade bread and delicious pastelitos.
We thank God for the gift of her life, she was an inspiration to our lives.
Services for Lydia will be held at the Mora Valley Baptist Church on the road to Rio de ;a Casa on Monday, October 20, 2014 at 7:00 p.m. and Funeral Services with Pastor David Herrera on Tuesday, October 21, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. Interment will take place at the Ledoux Cemetery in Ledoux, NM with the following serving as Casket Bearers, Walter García, Alex Abeyta, Timothy Abeyta, Eugene Abeyta, Troy Estrada, José Estrada, Andres Casados and Miguel Abeyta. Serving as Honorary Bearers will be the rest of the grandchildren, Gabriel Abeyta and Eric Casados.
