Lucine E. Albers, 87, of Oakley, died Friday, October 24, 2014. She was born May 30, 1927 in Orion, KS to Fred and Mable (Stevenson) Hullet. Lucine was a 1946 graduate of Oakley High School. She owned the Silhouette Shoppe in Oakley for 27 years. She was a member of the Oakley Chamber of Commerce, the Ambassadors Club and the Cameo Club. Lucine had a love for gardening flowers. One of her proudest accomplishments was raising three daughters by herself.

She was preceded in death by parents and brothers Charlie and Melvin Hullet.

She is survived by her daughters: Lucinda, Melinda, and Bernita; siblings- Maxine, Kelvin, Elvin and Darlene; seven grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral service was 10 a.m. Tuesday, October 28, 2014 at the United Methodist Church, Oakley. Memorials are suggested to the Church or Logan County Hospital.
