Thelma Katherine Acra, 95, of Sunman, Indiana, passed away on Tuesday, June 3, 2014. She was born October 22, 1918 in Ohio County, Indiana, daughter of the late John and Luzena (Leffler) Harmeyer. Thelma was a member of the Baptist Church, was a Pink Lady at the Hospital and she worked as a Registered Nurse. She is survived by her daughter, Linda (James) Pritchett of Cincinnati, OH; daughter in law, Pam Acra of Aurora, IN; 4 grandchildren, Mark Fay, Megan Keith, Kit Acra, Gabrial Pritchett; and 6 great grandchildren, Luke Fay, Elisa Fay, Layne Keith, Lynse Keith, Reny Lingo, and Monair Pritchett. She was preceded in death by her parents John and Luzena Harmeyer; husband, Clayton Acra; son, Kenneth Acra; and brother, Carl Harmeyer. Family and friends will be received on Monday, June 9, 2014 from 12pm to 2pm at Fitch-Denney Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at Fitch-Denney Funeral Home, Monday, June 9, 2014 at 2pm, with Pastor Dean Greenwood officiating. Interment will follow in the Rising Sun New Cemetery, Rising Sun, Indiana. Contributions may be made to the Dearborn County Hospice or Son Light Power.
