He was employed by the New York Central Railroad for 60 years as a conductor, retiring in 1945. He leaves two daughters, Mrs. James M O'Kane of Stocton, Calif. and Mrs Leland A Shippee of West Springfield, and three sisters Mrs Estella Andrews, Mrs Emily Culver, and Mrs Agnes Stevens all of Hinsdale. The Bartlett-Wellington Funeral home, Dalton, is in charge. Burial will be in Maple Street Cemetery, Hindsale.
