OAK RIDGE Mrs. Alice Case Barrow, 91, died Wednesday, Nov. 14, 2001.
The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 18, 2001, at Oak Ridge United Methodist Church. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
She was born July 2, 1910, in Guilford County, to the late Charles R. and Nannie Albright Case. Mrs. Barrow was a member of Oak Ridge United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, M.L. (Ned) Barrow; sister, Nora Case Harllee; and two brothers, Robert P. Case and Charles A. Case.
Survivors include three daughters and sons-in-law, Nancy and Collin (Mac) Abbitt Jr., Betty and Franklin Blalock, Mary Lou and Boyd Hawes; one sister, Elizabeth Case Schumacher and husband, John; four grandchildren, Della Elizabeth Hawes, Collin Abbitt III, Dr. Ann Bird, Alice Abbitt; sister-in-law, Georgia Case; and numerous nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 17, 2001,at Brooke Funeral Home.
Memorials may be made to a charity of the donors choice.
