Burton Isom, 80, a lifelong resident of rural Keyes, Okla., died Friday, Dec. 3, 1999, at Northwest Texas Hospital in Amarillo, Texas.
He was born Nov. 10, 1919, to Elmer and Stella Josephine (Burton) Isom in Sturgis, Okla. He was a farmer.
Survivors include two sisters, Betty J. Phillips and Ruth Smith, both of Elkhart; four nieces and one nephew.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 7, 1999, at Harrell Chapel in Elkhart, with the Revs. Terrell Giddens and Dewey Harris presiding. Burial will be at Elkhart Cemetery.
Friends may call until 8 p.m. today at Harrell Funeral Home in Elkhart.
