He was born Nov. 10, 1919, to Elmer and Stella Josephine (Burton) Isom in Sturgis, Okla. He was a farmer.
Survivors include two sisters, Betty J. Phillips and Ruth Smith, both of Elkhart; four nieces and one nephew.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 7, 1999, at Harrell Chapel in Elkhart, with the Revs. Terrell Giddens and Dewey Harris presiding. Burial will be at Elkhart Cemetery.
Friends may call until 8 p.m. today at Harrell Funeral Home in Elkhart.
Memorials are suggested to the American Cancer Society, in care of Harrell Funeral Home, 514 Kansas Ave., Elkhart, KS 67950.
