Shelby J. Grimmett, 76 of Gilbert, went home to be with her Lord and Savior and to join her loved ones waiting for her in heaven, on Thursday, November 20, 2014 at Logan Regional Medical Center at Logan.

Born on April 15, 1938 at Mohawk, she was the daughter of the late Melvin and Mona Cline.

Shelby was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. She was a member of the Browning Fork House of Faith and loved her family, her church family and her friends. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Those remaining to love and cherish the memory of Shelby and to mourn her passing include her loving husband Lemuel “Doc” Grimmett of Gilbert; her two daughters: Barbara (Gerald) Cline of Gilbert and Kathy (Donald) Mueller of Houston Texas; her son, Landon (Misty) Grimmett of Gilbert; her four brothers: Colin (Lois) Cline of Baisden, Bennett (Bernice) Cline of Bluefield, Jimmy (Janet) Cline of Petersburg Virginia and Eugene (Glenda) Cline also of Petersburg Virginia; her sister, Patsy Green of Baisden; her 6 grandchildren: Jeremy and Justin Cline, Leah McCoy, Weston Rollyson and DeLaney and Kinley Grimmett; her six great-grandchildren: Lexzee, Gracie, Preslee, Wayde and Wesley Cline and Colton Rollyson; and a host of other dear family and friends.

Friends may gather with the family at the Freedom Full Gospel Assembly House of Prayer at Hampden on Saturday, November 22nd from 6 pm to 9 pm.

Funeral services will be held on Sunday, November 23, 2014 at 3 pm at the Freedom Full Gospel Assembly House of Prayer at Hampden with Rev. Diamond Carter and Rev. Carl “Cab” Wolford officiating.

Burial will follow in the "Hatfield"Cemetery at Sharon Height of Hampden.

Shelby will be carried to her final resting place by Packy Cline, Clark Blackburn, Ronald Stacy, Jarvis Walls and Chassie Cline.

She is gone from our sight but never from our hearts.
