Sawicki Killed in Viet Nam -
Cpl. Richard Sawicki, son of Mrs. Louis Sawicki of Grand Island was killed in combat operations in Viet Nam.
Mrs. Sawicki was notified of her son's death in a telegram from the Defense Department last Thursday morning.
Besides his mother he is survived by a brother, Archie and a sister Mrs. Wayne Silk of Grand Island and another sister, Mrs. Louise Abbott of Alliance.
Cpl. Sawicki is a nephew of Al Sawicki of Greeley, Mrs. Anna Janc of St. Paul and Walter Sawicki of Greeley, Colorado.
