Funeral services for Mr. Edgar Aston Aaron, age 75, are scheduled for 2 p.m. Thursday, December 11, 2014 at the chapel of Golden Funeral Home with Rev. Jeff Williams officiating. Interment will follow in Bartholomew Cemetery. Visitation will be held Wednesday from 5-8 p.m. at Golden Funeral Home.

Mr. Aaron was a resident of Bastrop, LA, and a retired butcher. He passed away Monday, December 8, 2014.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Jessie Lee Aaron and Alline Elizabeth Aaron, and brother, Billy Aaron.

He is survived by his wife, Delores Aaron; children, Sherry Foster and husband Jeff, Bryan Aaron and wife Angela, Dee Dee Warren and husband Mike, Kenneth Aaron and wife Jennifer; eight grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; siblings, Jessie Aaron and wife Sharon, Barbara Antley and husband George, Sybil Welch and husband Bill, Danny Aaron and wife Wanda, Joe Aaron and wife Dot; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Serving as pallbearers will be Paul Hale, Kenny Hale, David Wayne Sims, Brett Sims, Austin Aaron, and Edward Chappell. Honorary pallbearers are Mike Warren and Jeff Foster.

Mr. Aaron loved his wife, children, grandchildren, and family. He also enjoyed to golf.
