William George “Bill” Eastman, 74, died Dec. 14, of natural causes in Casper.

Bill was born May 23, 1940, in Big Piney, to Elwin George “Ted” and Margaret Evelyn Mann Eastman.

Bill graduated from Mountain View High School in 1958, and served in the Wyoming National Guard. He then worked road construction during the summer and graduated from the University of Wyoming in 1966, with a bachelor’s degree in education.

He went on to teach and coach in Chugwater, Big Piney and Dubois.

In 1963, he married Judy Swallow and they had two children. They later divorced.

Bill was preceded in death by both of his parents, Elwin George “Ted” and Margaret Evelyn Mann Eastman.

He is survived by two children: Ronald J. (Suzie) of Gillette, and Gayle E. (Kendall) of Fort Collins, Colorado.; four grandsons: Corben and Cody Eastman and Garrett and Grant Schmidt; three siblings, Grant Eastman of Hobart, Wisconsin, Connie Roach of Battle Mountain, Nevada, and Linda Drummond of Londonderry, Ohio; and numerous nieces and nephews.
