James E. "Bud" Patterson, Jr, age 75, of Lucedale died Thursday, December 25, 2014 at Mobile Infirmary of Mobile, AL. Mr. Patterson was born August 25, 1939 in Lucedale, MS. He is the son of the late James Ervin and the late Thelma (Dungan) Patterson SR.
He was employed by Ingalls Shipbuilders as a Machinist Superintendent.
Mr. Patterson was a member of Barton Baptist Church and a resident of Lucedale, MS.
He is survived by two daughters: Kathryn Patterson, Cathy O'Connor; one sister: Merle (Randy) Needles and one brother: Henry (Darlene) Patterson;
Predeceased by his Father, James Ervin Patterson SR, Mother, Thelma Dungan Patterson, sister, Frances Clark, son-in-law, John O'Conner, brother-in-law, Max L. Ables.
The funeral will be held 2:00 pm on Sunday, December 28 at Barton Baptist Church, Hwy 63 South, Lucedale, MS with Rev. John Henry officiating. Burial will be in Barton Baptist Church Cemetery, Lucedale on Sunday, December 28 at 3:00 pm.
